At Burningfold, weddings are a family affair. Here we introduce Ashleigh Muddle - married to Harry, Richard and Jessica's son - who joins the team throughout the summer season bringing warmth, experience and a love of the countryside that feels very much at home on the estate.
Originally from South Africa, Ashleigh grew up on a farm with a deep love of countryside living and bringing people together. Before moving to England, she spent several years working in events back home - gaining valuable experience in organisation, hospitality and creating memorable experiences that translates naturally into her role at Burningfold.
Married to Harry, Richard and Jessica's son, Ashleigh is a familiar face on the estate throughout the summer season. Her role centres on making sure everything runs smoothly - from the months of planning that lead up to the day, to the moment the last guest leaves. She works closely with couples on the details that matter most, coordinating timings, supporting suppliers and ensuring every personal touch is in place so that couples can feel completely relaxed and fully present.
Alongside weddings, Ashleigh is closely involved in the polo side of the estate - a natural fit for someone who plays the sport herself alongside Harry. For Ashleigh, the two worlds sit together very naturally. Both are centred around people, organisation and creating memorable experiences, and there is something about the equestrian lifestyle that ties so beautifully into the spirit and feel of Burningfold.
What she loves most about wedding days here is seeing how every couple brings their own personality and style to the day. No two weddings are ever the same, and it is the small details - the ones that make each celebration entirely unique - that she finds most rewarding to be part of. For Ashleigh, what makes Burningfold truly special is not just the beauty of the estate or the freedom it gives couples, but the genuine heart that everyone on the team puts into every single wedding. She believes couples feel that from the very first visit - and that it stays with them long after the day itself.
Her hope, above everything else, is that when a couple's wedding day finally arrives, they feel completely at ease. Knowing that every detail has been taken care of, that the team are there if anything is needed, and that all they have to do is enjoy every single moment.
