OUR STORY
A family-run country estate, nestled on the borders of Surrey & Sussex
Burningfold Manor Country Estate has been the family home for Richard and Jessica Muddle and their four children for over twenty five years. Tucked away in the picturesque countryside, Burningfold can accommodate up to 32 guests. This idyllic setting is not only a haven for families and residents but also a testament to the Muddle family's vision of creating a sustainable environment. Their goal has always been to craft a versatile and diverse estate that respectfully blends with nature, encompassing the farm, event spaces, and accommodations.
With their roots firmly planted in country living and farm life, Richard and Jessica bring a unique blend of expertise to the table with their extensive backgrounds in marketing and event management. Richard's career as a flat jockey and subsequent ownership of UK racecourses, paired with Jessica's experience as a Sponsorship Executive for the Jockey Club, laid the groundwork for their next venture. The introduction of polo at Burningfold in 2007 was a natural fit, allowing them to share the "sport of kings" with families and enthusiasts alike, with their eldest son Harry taking the reins to ensure its success.
