A family-run country estate, nestled on the borders of Surrey & Sussex

Burningfold Manor Country Estate has been the family home for Richard and Jessica Muddle and their four children for over twenty years. Having moved to a neighbouring farm, they feel the time is right to realise their dreams and ambitions by moving into the wedding and events sector. They want to share their love and enjoyment of long lasting memories they cherish of friends and family, who have celebrated their special day and momentous occasions at Burningfold over the years, with others.

Richard and Jessica both have backgrounds in country living, farm life and horses, along with extensive experience of marketing and event management in the hospitality industry.  Richard started his career as a flat jockey before owning and operating racecourses throughout the UK, whilst Jessica worked as Sponsorship Executive for the Jockey Club on their London racecourses.   The introduction of polo at Burningfold in 2007 was a natural fit, the sport of kings is a wonderful game for all of the family to enjoy and this is directed by eldest son Harry.

Burningfold offers a unique country retreat with a range of accommodation for up to 32 guests with event spaces set in the beautiful open countryside.  Developing a versatile and diverse country estate that works for both the family and residents has always been the Muddle goal whilst creating a greener and more sustainable environment for the farm, event spaces and accommodation.  As Burningfold starts its new journey within the events industry, they are excited about what the future holds and showcasing Burningfold's hidden retreat with everyone.
