Ceremonies & Receptions
At Burningfold Manor, no two weddings are ever the same. With exclusive use of the estate, you have the freedom to create a celebration that truly reflects you - from a romantic ceremony in the walled gardens to a grand marquee reception beneath the stars. Whether you prefer an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, every space offers its own unique charm and flexibility.
The Walled Garden
Framed by wisteria and roses, the walled garden is a favourite for outdoor ceremonies. This romantic, private setting can accommodate up to 120 guests and provides an idyllic backdrop for your vows.
The Manor
For a more traditional or intimate occasion, the Manor House offers an atmosphere of warmth and heritage. Inside, the oak-panelled library can host up to 72 guests for a ceremony or seated celebration. With its original beams, leaded windows, and open fireplace, it’s a setting that feels both elegant and deeply personal.
The Marquee
For larger celebrations, our permanent marquee overlooking the lily pond is the perfect space for dinner, dancing, and evening festivities. Linked to the Stable Bar and party barn, it can seat up to 180 guests and is a blank canvas ready to be styled around your vision.
Prefer something more bespoke? The estate’s grounds can also accommodate your own marquee or stretch tent, allowing complete creative freedom for a one-of-a-kind reception.

Local Churches
For those wishing for a traditional church ceremony, Burningfold Manor is ideally located near several beautiful village churches, including Dunsfold, Hascombe, and Chiddingfold - all within a short drive of the estate. After the service, return to the manor for your private reception and evening celebration.

Celebrant Ceremonies
If you’re planning a celebrant-led ceremony, you can choose anywhere on the estate — from beneath the willow tree beside the pond to the gardens, the marquee, or the library. The freedom to design your day exactly as you wish is at the heart of every wedding at Burningfold.
